The New Wet n Wild Centerstage Eyeshadow Pallets

Wet n Wild has to be one of my favorite brands of makeup. The price is nice, the quality is great and can be found almost anywhere here in the United States and Canada if I am not mistaken. The wonderful people there has teamed up with Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and have released a new line in the Wet n Wild family of products. Included in the line are eyeshadows, eyeshadow primer, nail polish, lipstick, lipgloss, foundation and powder. I picked up quite a few things from the new line and I intend on getting more. I have seen these available first hand at Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, Walmart and Kmart. They may be available at many other places as well but these are just the places I have seen them.

This post will be about the eyeshadows. The Centerstage Collection has four eyeshadow pallets.

Each pallet consists of five colors, the center color matte while the colors surrounding have a range of textures. Some are translucent highlighting shades while some are matte and others are shimmery and glittery.
They contain net weight of 0.19 oz or 5.5 g of product. They are a good size in my opinion. I purchased mine from Walgreens and paid $4.99 USD for them which is a good price, especially for 5 eyeshadows. The    single shadows from Wet n Wild are often priced at $1.99.

Here are the colors:
 A031 Metropolitan Nights
 A030 Dutchess Lounge
A032 Maldives Sky
A029 Desert Festival

Overall I think these are really good eyeshadows with good pigmentation. When applied with a primer and a base the colors are very vivid and beautiful. I love them over a white base. I think they are good for most if not all skin tones. The shadows are definately worth trying and having in your collection. You can use a whole pallet by itself to create a look. You may have to use a flesh toned color as a transitional color if thats what you like to do but its not necessary if its not something you always do. One thing you will have to be careful of is the fall out with the extra shimmery and glittery shades. I suggest tapping the excess off the brush before applying and slowly building the color up. The gold color I used in this look definitely had fallout. I also suggest putting on foundation and other face makeup after applying so you can get all the fallout off without disturbing your other makeup. Here is a look I did using the Metropolitan Nights Pallet. Sorry its a little blurry I had to zoom in so you could see the colors.

Here is the full look I created using the Metropolitan Nights Pallet. I hope you found this helpful and I really think these pallets are worth it to pick up and try out. Let me know what you think if you have tried them! :)
